Lt. Col. Harry T. Stewart Jr was one of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first Black military aviators in the U.S. Army Air Forces.
On one mission, he shot down three German Focke-Wulf 190s in a single day, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross.
This is his aircraft. Little Coquette.
And this is his story.
The Tuskegee Airmen weren't just pilots; they were a proving ground. Every mission was a test:
Can they fly?
Can they fight?
Can they lead?
The 332nd Fighter Group flew escort missions for Allied bombers deep into enemy territory, and they did it with a record segregationists said was impossible. The enemy feared the Red Tails. The bombers they escorted trusted them. And history remembers.
When we presented Lt. Col. Stewart with this tribute, he looked at what we'd built and said yes. He gave us his signature. His endorsement. That's not something you fake. That's an honor we carry every time one of these decanters gets poured.
This decanter is built to the same exceptional standard and with many of the same techniques as Lt. Col. Stewart's Mustang was built. We make these by hand in the USA using two tapered and hand-rolled aluminum skins, then hand rivet them around a custom-molded glass bottle. Afterwards, we secure the entire metal label together with a rear piano hinge, then add the finishing touch, our "Remove AFTER Flight" tag.
Designed in collaboration with Cockpit Creations, this decanter serves as a true piece of aviation memorabilia and a meaningful aviation gift.
Pick it up. You'll feel it.
This decanter is part of our Pilot Signature Series, limited-edition tributes to WW2 aviators whose stories deserve to be told, poured, and passed down.
It's an ideal choice among gifts for veterans, unique military gifts, and collectors of Tuskegee Airmen memorabilia.
And a portion of every sale supports the Honor Flight Network and the Commemorative Air Force, because history doesn't preserve itself.
Filled with 5-year Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Numbered edition. Each one a piece of history you can hold, pour from, and pass down.
This is Lt. Col. Harry T. Stewart Jr's legacy. And it's yours to carry forward.
